We have had a good month of one thing after the other. We've had ear infections, teething(will it ever end?), black-eyes, goose eggs, chipped-teeth, split-lips, and hand foot & mouth disease(very painful blisters in all of these areas, causing the boys to refuse food). Thank God that we are currently drug-free. It seems as if someone is constantly on antibiotics, tylenol, or motrin. It is so great to have healthy little vibrant men once again. VPK love facing the front of the car now. They still don't love the car, but tolerate it more in this direction-up to 45 minutes!
We have had a couple of play-dates with our friends Micah and Charlotte Taylor. Charlotte is so sweet and I think, not quite sure what to think of VPK. Micah says she talks about them @ home, so I guess she likes them and their wild ways! Van and PK sort of band together when she comes over, a little awkward, it's cute. But after a while, Vanny gets restless and starts his traipsing around. We always say that his bottom never touches the ground.
Van is becoming quite the entertainer-when he is around friends, that is. He dances pretty much all day long. He has 8 teeth now-4 on top and 4 on the bottom. His vocabulary has improved too. He can say "all done", "moo", and "dog". Vanny loves to be chased and can run very fast-he's excellent on his feet.
PK is such a little water-man! He could stay in the water all day! He is walking now, more "toddling", and is very proud of himself! Pee Wee loves his books and organizing things. While Van is wandering, PK can often be found focused on some task @ hand. He's more of a details man. PK has crazy teeth! He's got 14 already! One of his new words is "bottle", and he is working on lots of others.
