The Marathon of Twins(20 weeks)

Life with 2 babies is very busy, but as I often tell others, we don't know any different! When Ron is out of town, the boys and I dine "up on the hill" @ my parents. The boys are so active and restless during this precarious time so close to the end of their day, that we rarely eat together. It really is pretty comical, now that I write about it as they sleep. Usually, in fact, one of us eats @ a time and I usually end up taking one home before I finish mine! The seat that Vanny is in has a mirror ball above him that rotates around. We attach rings with a toy on the end of it to the moving part and he anticipates the rings as they come around until he grabs it. He pulls so hard that we've been sure many times that he has finally broken the thing=) They are fascinated by all that is around them, from dogs to my grandpa's glasses. PK loves the johnny jump up that hangs in the outside doorway. He loves to watch the dogs come and go beneath him.

My mom has begun their education of scents. She lets them smell spices and herbs, I think that vanilla and coffee are the favorites so far-go figure=) My dad is the grounds tour guide, taking the fussiest boy on a nature walk and pointing out key landmarks along the way. I, of course, am the last resort. When no one else can soothe, then I'm it. This is all the same when Ronnie is around, by the way, but he is one more set of skilled hands. Daddy can get the boys to settle with the gentle, precise hands of a surgeon. These precious little men are truly becoming so pleasurable. They are really becoming Van and PK.
