Our sweet little babies, whom we could barely communicate with, are now becoming little boys. They understand so much now, and are so fun to tease, cuddle, and laugh with. VPK are really having fun together too! They laugh @ eachother, and escape their play area together. They are bored with their toys unless the other is their to steal from. Van is the master stealer. Luckily PK is pretty laid back, but we're waiting for PK to start to put his foot down. Their personalities are so completely opposite that they are mirror images of eachother.
We are officially done with our little walkers the boys use. Vanny will climb out within 5 minutes, and PK is so tall that he tipped his over. Vanny walks very quickly now, and PK is showing some interest, but still no more than a few steps.
VPK absolutely love visting Grandpa @ his office. He gives them "racechair" rides in his office chair.
We have two great strollers that are so convenient, but oh no, VPK like a regular old cart better. You can see the seating arrangement above=) I don't dare attempt this alone, since Van will surely jump out. But it is fun when I have help!
Our sweet PeeWee is gentle, cuddly, comfortable around most, and a great audience for his brother. He has the best belly-giggle ever. He is very keen with his sense of touch, always thoroughly examining his food, toys and feet. He is ultra flexible. PK is long and lean, with green eyes and olive skin. His hands and feet are narrow and when he smiles, you see all his 9 teeth=)
PK is excellent with his hands, especially with balls. Balls are his favorite! He play catch with us sometimes, but mostly with himself.
Van is fiery, physical, rough, shy around strangers, a total ham around those he knows. He wants to run-fast, and always has more room in his mouth for more. He is so fair with blond hair and clear blue eyes. We call him a "bull" because he is so strong and broad-hands and feet included. His laugh is toothy and wide, and comes in a variety of loud noises with shakes of his head. Vanny is always looking up-still, and scaling the room in his imagination. He is our beloved little monkey!
There is never any question between their voices. I hope these differences will dampen comparisons between them as they grow up.
