Photo Catch-Up!

We've been swimming lately, since our outdoor activities like hiking have been rained out. The YMCA that we go to is so warm and the boys are starting to get used to the idea of swimming. PK takes the relaxed approach, floating and enjoying himself. Vanny does not want to be on his back, as usual, but loves to splash and kick.

PK is fascinated with cars, people, and animals. He studies everything intently and has a wonderful sense of humor. Yesterday I heard him giggling, and turned around to find him playing with Van's kicking feet in the high chair. PK was on the ground grabbing @ them, laughing away! Tonight the boys were playing on the floor w/daddy and Vanny was kicking his feet on PK's tummy. Again, PK was giggling like crazy! PK is a companion-child, loving just to be with you, doing whatever you're doing. He loves to be teased.Van is a crazy little man. He absolutely does not like to be on his back, and half the time doesn't want to sit. He straightens his little legs and wants to walk. He is a mover. He rolls all over while we change his diapers and has quick little hands grabbing everything. He is amazingly strong, and pulls parts off toys, then banging the toy with its part! He likes to see himself in the mirror-always smiling when his eyes meet=) Vanny smiles almost always, unless he is over-stimulated or tired, then it's a game to get him to look @ you. Vanny is very motivated and focused. He'll see a toy across the room and relentlessly figure out how to get it.
How blessed are we, to have these two little boys. We are more thankful every day.
