The boys had their first tub-bath tonight! They were both a little unsure @ first, but relaxed since mom was in there with them. Van has had a rough couple of days. He was in the emergency room 2 days ago to make sure that he didn't have a UTI. Yesterday I took him to Swedish to have an ultrasound to check on the status of his kidney. He has been vomiting and more fussy than normal for the last 5 days or so, and the concern was that his enlarged kidney was pushing on his stomach and causing him to throw up. We found out today that there is no change in his kidney. Unfortunately, he hasn't been sleeping well either. It seems I celebrated too soon! Van, in spite of his occasional fussiness, is quite happy as usual-giggling, smiling, talking, and wiggling like crazy! PK, meanwhile, got to hang out with grandma and has changed immensely in the last week! He is intent on standing-which he can on his own when his back is supported. He is also smiling and laughing and eager to watch his brother. Both boys love "flying" over our heads and when dad puts the "bonnet" on their head or buffs out their "shiny" foreheads=) My mom has accidentally coined the term "nicey-nice" for their blankies. They are all smiles when someone refers to them and/or tickles their upper lip with the satin. We are so in love with VPK!
